We collect: (a) Account information — name, phone number, email address; (b) Professional credentials — licenses, certifications, and health records you upload; (c) Location data — GPS coordinates at clock-in and clock-out only; (d) Payment information — bank account details for payouts (stored by our payment processor, never on our servers); (e) Usage data — pages visited, shifts viewed, and in-app actions.
We use your information to: operate the platform and match clinicians with shifts; process payments and timesheets; verify credentials and GPS attendance; send notifications about shifts, bookings, and account activity; improve our matching algorithm; comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information: with facilities for shifts you book (name, credentials, GPS verification status); with payment processors to execute payouts; with identity verification services to validate credentials; with law enforcement when legally required.
GPS coordinates are collected only at the moment of clock-in and clock-out. This data is used solely to verify work location. It is stored encrypted, accessible only to you and the facility for the relevant shift, and is deleted 12 months after the shift date.
Documents you upload to your Clinical Passport are stored in encrypted cloud storage. They are shared only with facilities for active bookings and with our AI verification system. You may delete any document at any time from your account settings.
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@covecare.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), row-level security on all database tables, and regular security audits. We do not store payment card data.
You have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; opt out of non-essential communications; request a copy of your data; lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
