Information We Collect
We collect: (a) Account information — name, phone number, email address; (b) Professional credentials — licenses, certifications, and health records you upload; (c) Location data — GPS coordinates when you clock in and out, and your location when you choose to use it to find shifts near you; (d) Payment information — bank account details for payouts (stored by our payment processor, never on our servers); (e) Usage data — pages visited, shifts viewed, and in-app actions.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate the platform and match clinicians with shifts; process payments and timesheets; verify credentials and GPS attendance; send notifications about shifts, bookings, and account activity; improve our matching algorithm; comply with legal obligations.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information: with facilities for shifts you book (name, credentials, GPS verification status); with payment processors to execute payouts; with identity verification services to validate credentials; with law enforcement when legally required.
GPS and Location Data
GPS coordinates are collected at the moment of clock-in and clock-out to verify work location, and your location is used when you ask the app to find shifts near you. Clock-in locations are stored encrypted, accessible only to you and the facility for the relevant shift, and are deleted 12 months after the shift date.
Credential Documents
Documents you upload to your Clinical Passport are stored in encrypted cloud storage. They are shared only with facilities for active bookings and with our AI verification system. You may delete any document at any time from your account settings.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, from Account in the app or on our account deletion page, or by emailing hello@mycovecare.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), row-level security on all database tables, and regular security audits. We do not store payment card data.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; opt out of non-essential communications; request a copy of your data; lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
