Your Clinical Passport holds the credentials facilities need to see before you work for them. You set it up once, and it's used for every booking.
A checklist for your role
What you need depends on the roles you choose. Licensed and certified roles need a professional license and the usual health and safety documents. Support roles, like dietary or front desk, don't need a license. Your Passport only lists what applies to you.
Adding documents
- Uploads: take a photo, choose one from your phone, or attach a PDF. Documents are reviewed as they arrive.
- Your license: enter the number and state rather than uploading a photo of the card.
- Agreements: some items, like the contractor agreement, are signed right in the app.
Background check and fingerprints
You start your background check from the Passport; it's run by Checkr, our background check provider, and needs an email address on your profile. In Ohio, roles with hands-on care also need BCI and FBI fingerprints.
Staying ready to book
If something required is missing, expired or still in review, booking is paused and the Passport shows what needs attention at the top. Credentials that expire soon are flagged there too, so you can renew them in time.
