Every shift on Covecare shows an hourly rate and an "Earn" amount for the whole shift. That's what you're paid. Covecare is free for clinicians, so nothing comes off it.
Offering a different rate
If a shift's rate doesn't work for you, make an offer with the rate you'd take. The facility can accept or decline, and you can follow every offer under My Shifts, Requests.
Getting paid
- Connect your bank in Earnings. This opens Stripe's secure setup; Covecare never sees your bank details.
- Work the shift and submit your timesheet when you clock out.
- When the facility approves it, your pay is sent to your Stripe account and paid into your bank on Stripe's schedule.
Every payment is listed in Earnings, and your totals are kept by tax year under Tax documents.
Taxes
On Covecare you work as an independent contractor, so tax isn't taken out of your pay. Keep your yearly totals for your 1099 and set some aside for tax. A tax professional can tell you what applies to you.
