When a facility needs someone fast, it marks a shift urgent. For the first few minutes, that shift goes only to clinicians who are a good match. That's First Call.
Who gets First Call
Clinicians who:
- have said they're free at that time in Availability,
- live within the distance they're willing to travel, and
- would take the shift's rate, based on the lowest rate they've set.
Matching clinicians get an alert and can book straight away. After the window closes, the shift opens to everyone.
Setting it up
In Availability, mark the days and times you're free, choose how far you'll travel, set the lowest rate you'd take, and keep urgent shift alerts on. The more accurate it is, the more First Call shifts you'll see.
